The issue seems to be with clicking reload when no files are selected. Another way of \
getting to the same state is this: Open the same file in 2 editors (one being kate of \
course) Make changes to the one in Kate
Make and save then changes to the one in the other editor
When Kate comes back into focus the file is automatically unchecked because you still \
have pending changes. When you click reload, the same thing happens.

I'm using a 2.6.11 Kernel with Kate 2.4 on KDE 3.4.0 all compiled from source (using \
gentoo) using gcc 3.4.3-20050110. _______________________________________________
