Version:           2.4 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.3-20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110-r1, ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r6

Steps to reproduce:
1) create 2 text files;
2) in Konqueror open first file;
3) send kate to other desktop;
4) in Konqueror open second text file;

Results: another Kate window apears with both files and window from other desktop gets moved back to active desktop resultin in two kate windows with same content on one desktop.

Expected Behaviour: only one kate window is shown
Variants: 
1) two kate windows on different desktops 
  a) with all documents on both instances
  b) with different documents on both instances
2) one kate window just is moved to active desktop
3) file is opened on backgroud desktops kate (pre bug #92011 behaviour)

This may bee caused by resolving Bug #92011. 

My settings for KDE are default (Allow more than one kate process is not checked and Konqueror launches kate with "kate %U")
