           Summary: indentation broken after doxygen comment containing
                    ' brief'
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org

Version:            (using KDE Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources

Hi all,

when documenting c++ functions indentation will be broken after doxygen comments \
containing ' brief' So if there is a comment like this:

/**
 * brief This function is here purely to have a doxygen
 * style comment above it.
 *
 * Try inserting a newline after this comment by hitting
 * ENTER or pasting it. Or trigger indentation by other
 * means - i.e. insert a semicolon at the end of a line.
 */
void getNothingAtAll();

If you follow the instructions above, the new line will be indented to after the ' \
brief' command. Inside the doxygen comment there is no such indentation. This \
behavior solely depends on the presence of ' brief' not on the type of the comment \
(i.e. Qt or JavaDoc; multiline or not). Other doxygen commands do not seem to cause \
this behaviour, although I didn't test all of them.

Thanx for reading :-)
