           Summary: option to for virtually wordwrapped to honor the indent
                    text rather than wrap at position 0
           Product: kate
           Version: 2.1
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: justin@irjsoftware.com

Version: 2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:          Linux

Firstly, thanks for the incredible work you guys have done with KATE

When virtual word wrap is turned on and a line wraps, the wrap starts immediately at \
position 0. Our companies previous editor was Editplus, which wrapped under the \
position of the indent,  eg:

Editplus virtual wrapping method:
========================

(for clarity, i have replaced the indented spaces with minus signs (-) because the \
spaces are not reflecting my example correctly)

do {

----if ($lCondition) {
--------echo "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
--------blah blah blah";
----}
}

as opposed to what kate currently does:

Kate virtual wrapping method:
=====================

do {

----if ($lCondition) {
--------echo "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah";
----}
}

Please could you add an option to choose between these 2 methods, as in particularly \
large programs, it becomes quite difficult to follow the control structure. \
