Yes, konqueror reports it as perl files (perl code).
At first, the files where shown correctly in the builtin preview (simply 
clicking on the file in konqueror), but suddenly, the syntaxhighlighting 
in the builtin-preview was wrong, too.
At the same time, kate used the wrong highlighting, too.


I detected, that perlfiles starting with comment-lines directly after the
#!/usr/bin/perl
line seem to be not recognized.

If you started such a file once, kate (or the builtin-preview) doesn't 
recognize the perl-script any more, even restarting of kate (or konqueror) 
and loading a file, which previously was detected correctly is detected 
wrong from now on. But it is always reported as perl code in konqueror - 
this seems to be working fine.

Or it is accident.
