Subject: Bug#41501: Cursor disappears on key-down from a long line to a shorter line
From: boud () valdyas ! org

Package: kwrite
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.0.5 (CVS HEAD >= 20020412))
Severity: normal
Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.4.10-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

If the cursor is at the end of a long line, and the next line
is shorter, if you press down,
the cursor disappears. If you continue typing, typing begins
at the position the cursor had on the previous line. If you press
end, the cursor appears again,
and aligns with the end of that line.
