While writing a syntax file for Kate I tumbled into this problem; keywords
containing +- and perhaps other characters are neglected. Thus, a <list>
element looking like this:

<list name="cmd_Actions">

+forward

-forward

</list>

Doesn't recognise "+forward", "-forward" or "forward.

In one way this is good since -+ are mathematical operators but in this case
they are part of the keyword(and the whole keyword including +- should be
affected by the itemdata tag). Would it be useful with an attribute which
toggled the treatment of special characters like + - ?

Is it possible to solve this somehow?

regards,
Frans
