Subject: [Kwrite-devel] Bug#35945: kwrite destroy some unrendered ascii codes during copy-paste
From: germain () ebooksfrance ! com

Package: kwrite
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 19991030 (prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.12
OS/Compiler notes:

If you try to copy-paste a sequence of chars containing special, not correctly \
rendered, ASCII codes, such as \0xC9 they are lost.

This is problematic because one can loose important datas (such as special chars \
inside a perl Regexp)

In contrast, Kedit keep them.
