I think that when there is a selection, and you press ctrl-r to search and replace \
that the [ ] Selected Text Only link should be enabled. When there is no text then \
this can be disabled by default. This is how it works with textpad on windows (a very \
good editor to review IMHO) and it's very convenient.

Of course, recordable macros would also be very cool :).

Great work! I use kwrite to code killer web sites :).
