Log Message:
- Fixing a couple of warnings.
- Applying Zsolt's patch.

However I have some concerns:
   1)  Adding a "Import..." menu item is wrong.  It should be done as an entry
       under the Import submenu if anything.
   2)  The plugin does not seem to get activated for me.
