superimposes on GL_BUFFER_AGE buffer re-usage. not checked whether we could just do better scissoring - the effect should not run very much anyway.

Testing

have sth. update the screen (eg. moving around the logout dialog) -> screen becomes black brick outside the updating area
fixed with patch.
