In case anyone is interested I have a new experimental launch-feedback effect in a \
branch in my kde-workspace repo:

http://quickgit.kde.org/index.php?p=clones%2Fkde-workspace%2Ffredrik%2Fkde-workspace.git&a=shortlog&h=refs/heads/launch-feedback

It's a WIP and currently uses several OpenGL 3 features, such as instancing, \
transform feedback, vertex array objects, and GLSL 1.30.
