Since limited glsl apparently turns off most shader usage, i recently
"fixed" this here ("= false" ;-) in order to be able to test things.
I didn't notice any kind of problem. The <G80 chips don't have unified
shaders (so no cuda) but i couldn't spot any requirement.
Since the checkbox says "OpenGL 2 shaders" and glxinfo reports 1.20
(on OpenGL 2.1.2) i wonder if one actually requires
- GLSL "2.0" (ie. between 1.50.11 & 3.30.6?)
- "shader model 2.0" (orig. DX9.0 shader spec, which should be
available with the G3x ie. the FX chips, maybe not so fast on G34 or
so)
- GLSL 1.10.59 (Ie. the version introduced with OpenGL 2.0)
Cheers,
Thomas
