I forgot to mention: While my desktop can handle the few hundreds of error
messages akonadi spams, my netbook is apparently not able to do that, even with
compositing completely/manually disabled.
It bails out at about 50, when it gets really slow. If you leave it on for a
while (instead of hard resetting), you can see the number of windows growing
into the hundreds, though very slowly.
