long story short:
the internal "do_show" flag in client.cpp ::updateDecoration(.) needs to be 
replaced with a "if (!noBorder())" in line 369 query to prevent side effects

unfortunately i've currently not set up a kde4 svn dev environment (changed 
distro ;-)

nevertheless this probably needs to be fixed for 4.4 (as tabbing + netbook are 
promoted features)
