The tab-holding and pressing alt is indeed a sure-fire way of reproducing the
bug in less than two seconds.

no listeners
all eye candy off, tabbing simply puts the window on top. holding alt-tab shows
an outline of the window that will go active if i release
click to focus, kde defaults
