I did not understand the technical relations where to implement what. But I
vote for this wish, because activation time currently is to long (KDE4.3) and
it would be nice to have a configuration parameter to try different activation
speeds:

1) A parameter to configure the delay for the initial highlighting is important
(maybe 0.7 seconds is fine, maybe not).

2) Comment #10 sounds great. (No delay between different highlights)

3) Also a keyboard shortcut to only highlight a window on demand might be nice
(comment #9), but I think this is not that important.
