https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205465 Summary: Window Decorations don't honor PaintClipper Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org ReportedBy: michael_zanetti@gmx.net Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package The new ARGB decos don't honor clipped regions set by effects using PaintClipper. Because of this, the decos (but now window contents) are drawn if a window overlaps a clipped area. You can reproduce this easily by using the SlideBack effect with a normal window (e.g. dolphin) and konsole (black color theme). Switch between the two windows using your mouse. Every once in while (when SlideBack uses the PaintCliper) you will notice the wrong paint cycles. Theoretically this issue should show up every time an effect uses PaintClipper.
