Nice idea. The only problem I see is that if you have no active window (e.g.
the desktop) you would not see snow. Or a very common scenario for me is to
have a transparent konsole above a konqueror window. In that case I do not want
to have the snow above the inactive window (konqueror) as I have to read from
it.

Nevertheless the wish sounds sensible and I will think about it a little bit
more.
