Summary: KWin - ensure visual continuity when entering window
switching mode
Product: kwin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org
ReportedBy: viesturs.zarins@mii.lu.lv
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources
When I press Alt+Tab to enter window switching, my active window instantly
disappears and is replaced by next window in list (which is bad). Pressing Tab
again I get a smooth transition to the next window (which is nice).
Please make so that the initial transition from current window to the next
window also is smooth. Otherwise it confuses users.
Ideally all windows should nicely slide from their current position to their
new places when entering window switching mode. Currently only the present
windows mode does this.
