Summary: Windows from the previous desktop are briefly displayed
when switching desktops using the cube effect and the
mouse
Product: kwin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org
ReportedBy: mboquien@free.fr
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources
Hello,
When switching desktops using the cube effect but moving the cube with the
mouse, when i hit the Enter key, the windows of the previous displayed desktop
are briefly displayed.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Move to a desktop using the pager applet (very important step, if you move
using the standard cube effect from the shortcut and the arrows key the bug
will not be triggered). Let's assume this is desktop 1.
2) Now launch the cube effect and move the cube with the mouse to desktop 2
3) when hitting enter/right mouse button you will notice that during the zoom
in phase, the windows of the previously displayed desktop (going from desktop 2
to 1, i will display the windows from desktop 2. Though if you move from
desktop 3 to 1 going through desktop 2, it will display the windows from
desktop 2) are briefly displayed (a couple tenth of second at most).
I have not been able to trigger this (fairly minor) bug under other conditions.
For information, i run KDE SVN trunk r877268, my graphics card is a radeon
hd4850 with the binary driver.
Thanks.
