Moreover, 15-20FPS is *good*.
What is really needed is to turn composition off when the frame rate
gets down to 1-3 FPS -- it's easy enough to disable effects when the
desktop is a bit sluggish, it's quite a task to perform when the
cursor changes position every 5 seconds...
