Summary: Multihead support is hard to set up
Product: kwin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwin kde org
ReportedBy: egxoun8uya67izy jetable org
Version: Qt: 3.3.8b, KDE: 3.5.9, KWin: 3.0 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
I could not get Multihead
(dualhead infact) support
working until I entered
KDE_MULTIHEAD=true
export KDE_MULTIHEAD
into my .xsession. This applies
to Xrandr 1.2
I got this from old bug report comment
of kwin, but I have the strong
feeling that it ought to be
documented somewhere. Prominent
if possible.
