------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167811 Summary: suspend does not work on logout Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kwin kde org ReportedBy: ghodechhap ghodechhap net Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package When 'Leave' is selected fromt the menu, the turn off computer button has suspend and resume options as dropdowns. I have not tried hibernate but choosing suspend does not do anything. I can manually invoke pm-suspend as root to suspend the laptop but it does not come back anymore and I have to reboot. It used to work all good with KDE3.5.9 with klaptop monitor applet. I am using archlinux packages on x86_64. Also is there a way to lock and suspend? or suspend does that already?
