I have the same problem here on Gentoo ~amd64 with QT 4.4.0 and KDE SVN from last \
week. With Desktop Effects turned on the PSI window becomes invisible. If Shadows are \
also turned on one can still see the shadow of the window.

Interestingly, if I turn the Desktop Effects off and then back on the window will be \
visible until I minimze it and afterwards restore it.

The only error message I get is:
QObject: Do not delete object, 'unnamed', during its event handler!
