Hi,

once more, Yakuake and kwin clash ;-). Yakuake shows and
hides its main window with a sliding animation, based on
progessively adjusting the window mask and moving stuff
around inside the window as it happens.

This doesn't mesh well with kwin's fade out effect in the
case of closing the window, because the fade out effect
apparently uses a too old snapshot of the window contents
to fade out as Yakuake calls hide() on its window, which
gives the appearance of the slid-out window briefly
popping back in full force before finally disappearing.

This is a frequent complaint right now -- any chance kwin
could fade out what's actually on the screen when hide()
is called?
