Summary: (CopyAgent) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT)
           Product: kwin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwin kde org
        ReportedBy: freeenergy juno com

Version: CopyAgent (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

I am attempting to restore my desktop from the X4 boxed version kernal 2.6.15. My \
last configuration which I backed up was at 2.6.18 after sp1 update. I was hoping to \
restore my configuration using X4 2.6.18, but it provides no facility for an \
activation code and shuts down every 30 minutes. This version of X4 2.6.18 was \
provided as an .iso download by Xandros tech support.

I have reinstalled X4 boxed version 5X already. I am still getting a SIGABRT error \
when I attempt to copy and paste my etc and root folders from backup. First, I get \
the following error message:

Quote:
Short description:
The application unknown (CopyAgent) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT)

What is this?
An application terminates with a SIGABRT signal when it detects an internal \
inconsistency caused by a bug in the program.

What can I do?
You might want to send a bug report for this application. Check if it is listed on \
http://bugs.kde.org, otherwise mail the author. Please include as much information as \
possible, maybe the original documents. If you have a way to reproduce the error, \
include this also.

and here is the error output:

There is no problem when I copy and paste my backup home folder to root. The SIGABRT \
error only happens when I attempt to copy and paste etc and root folders from backup \
to root. I still get the same error in admin mode.

I assume that this may have something to do with my last kernal configuration at \
2.6.18 as opposed to the boxed version at 2.6.15, but I am not an expert.

Thanks in advance : )
