I was able to reproduce this. Activating the transparency makes the decoration \
misbehave. It's probably the only decoration that can dynamically resize its border. 

There is a second problem related to the composite extension: the automatic unhiding \
of the window titles does not work. I suppose this is because the window is induced \
in "thinking" it's always completely visible... \
