Summary: Redmond buttons when maximized
Product: kwin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwin kde org
ReportedBy: cahwc2 umr edu
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
When the Redmond window decoration (Border Size - Normal) is selected and a window is \
maximized, there is a 2 pixel border between the top-right (and top-left for the \
window menu icon) of the screen and the close button. This makes it difficult to \
close maximized windows, since you have move the mouse slightly down and left before \
you can click. The behavior on Windows (and some other KDE decorations, like \
Crystal) is to extend the clickable area of the buttons up and right (removing the 2 \
pixel border) so a click on the top or the right of the screen hits the right button. \
