Summary: Send Keyboard shortcut to the application first
           Product: kwin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwin kde org
        ReportedBy: felix.seeger gmx de

Version: 3.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.14.1

Over the window-specific settings menu you can enable a workaround named "Block \
global shortcuts".

If you develop with an IDE (e.g. IntelliJ), there are shortcuts like Alt+F1 used. I \
like to use them without reconfiguring my KDE or IntelliJ and the Block global \
shortcuts workaround also blocks Alt+Tab, Ctrl+F4 and Alt+F2 which are shortcuts I \
really need.

There should be an option (if possible...) allowing the application to catch the \
shortcuts before giving them to KDE.
