It still has _662_ votes! 20 are mine. It's a very useful feature; I think it as useful as virtual desktops. BTW, I don't think that this feature could replace konsole, kdevelop, konqueror.. tabs; inestead, I feel that it would be complementary. You could have a real hierarchy of opened web pages. When I used fluxbox, I often had 3 or more web browser windows tabbed, and each window had some tabs opened =). Moreover, it would add choice: you could feel more comfortable using konsole tabs, but maybe others preffer konsole windows tabbed. And of course, it could be a cool way of tabbing for apps that doesn't support tabbing (such as kedit). One more thing: It would be cool if it were configurable, "featureful". For example, fluxbox let you group one (or more) apps when they're opened automatically. Or you can just also want that all the windows of the same app tabbed in a sole title border. Don't forget the tab reordering feature, with center (or wheel) mouse button via drag&drop :-). PD: I suggest to mark this bug report as a wish, because I feel that it's more a feature request than a real bug :-P. Apologies for my bad english. _______________________________________________ Kwin mailing list Kwin@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kwin
