Hmmm.

Further investigation shows that it doesn't play *any* sort of sounds.
I built a version that plays a midi tune and that's silent too.

There's an option on the phone to switch "Application Sounds" on/off,
but it's set to on.

The embedded games play midi, and the golf game may be playing a wav.

I'm sure most people switch sound effects off anyway :D
