Hi List,

I have exactly the many problems with the kolab server and among them the same
problem as described here. However, whatever I do, it does not go away.

> 1) Check and make absolutely sure about the permission of the keys.

cd /kolab/etc/kolab
ls -l *.pem
-rw-r----- 1 root kolab-r 672 Oct 15 02:34 cert.pem
-rw-r----- 1 root kolab-r 887 Oct 15 02:34 key.pem
(This is the actual output from my ls command)

Yep, done that too (as a matter of fact some 15 times......

Log of imapd.log gives me:
Dec 02 00:03:38 LinServ01 <notice> imapd[13830]: TLS engine: cannot load CA
data
Dec 02 00:03:38 LinServ01 <error> imapd[13830]: unable to get certificate from
'/kolab/etc/kolab/cert.pem'
Dec 02 00:03:38 LinServ01 <error> imapd[13830]: TLS engine: cannot load cert/
key data
Dec 02 00:03:38 LinServ01 <error> imapd[13830]: error initializing TLS

But right after the stop/start of the kolab server I also get these messages:

These messages don't feel very healthy, and I haven't got a clue what is going
on. It looks as though something has been screwed up, and it is trying to
recover from that.

So if anyone has a clue. Please let us know. We were supposed to install this
server for professional use, but as it is now, the reliability is way below
the required level.

Regards,
D.Kniep
