Hello list,

is it possible to tell the reminder script to authentificate at the SMTP
service?

alarms.php seems not to do so but seems to be able to send mails anyway.

Mail Configuration of Horde is to use best available authentification.

Kronolith configuration for reminder is:

$conf['reminder']['server_name'] = 'localhost';
$conf['reminder']['from_addr'] = 'reminder@domain.de';

With this configuration no daily agenda is sent but reminders are sent.

If I choose no authentification in mail configuration of horde
($conf['mailer']['params']['auth'] = false;) the daily agenda works, too.
But with this configuration I have the problem that users can fake their
identity.

How can I solve this problem that I can get daily agendas and that I can
use best authentification?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Manuel
