Why not work on a protocol plugin for Kopete?

The whole reason GAIM was popular is because it's an all in one instant
messenger.

I know I'd probably not run a separate chat client just for one or two
chat protocols (especially ones I'd hardly use)

Kopete runs on windows now (I think, at least it is soon to).

Why not create a bundle of Kopete with only your plugin compiled in or
something?
