I might be wrong, but I think this is related to the fact that you close 
the chat window and when the file transfer finishes, kopete tries to 
show a message in this non-existent chat window to inform that the file 
transfer is finished.
I got the same error here, and it seems to not happen when I don't close 
the chat window.
