I notice that contacts that I chat with through MSN, Y!, and Google Talk (Jabber) are receiving

tags wrapped around my text. I figured since Kopete uses HTML/CSS for it's chat style, I might be able to find the culprit in one of chat style templates: /usr/share/kde4/apps/kopete/styles/*/Contents/Resources/Outgoing/*.html ...alas, these files only revealed what looks to be a %message% macro, which I'm not sure how to go about fixing. I googled for a bit, and the closest thing that looks similar to this problem is this bug (#47950 - "HTML is not correctly escaped on incoming and outgoing messages"), which was closed back in 2002: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47950 ...probably not relevant anymore, save for the description of the symptom. Note, that my incoming messages seem just fine. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to find a fix or work-around? Thanks folks- and let me just say I think you guys are doing awesome work. I'm a huge fan of Kopete (it was one of the reasons why I chose KDE over Gnome). --Mike _______________________________________________ kopete-devel mailing list kopete-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kopete-devel
