Summary: Set status and status message button
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: silfreed-kdebugs silfreed net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

It would be nice to have a button (or perhaps preference) that allows you to set a \
status and choose a status message to set with that status.

For example:

Set status "Online" -> brings up the status message dialog -> choose status message \
or type a new one.

This is unfortunately exactly the opposite of bug 117288, and more like the current \
behavior of the individual accounts. I think a button that could be put in the \
toolbar that would apply to all accounts for "set status and message" would appease \
both camps. _______________________________________________
