If you use ICQ, select default message encoding in ICQ account properties. For example, to receive messages in Russian, select Windows-1251 encoding. You can also select encoding for those users in your contact list who use language different from your default language. Right-click to the flower icon to the right of user's name and click "Select encoding" in popup menu. Warning: don't select Unicode unless your contact also uses Kopete. This setting affects only non-Unicode messages (offline messages, for example). -- Oleg Girko, http://www.infoserver.ru/~ol/ _______________________________________________ kopete-devel mailing list kopete-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kopete-devel --Boundary-00=_v7zHGVTxM9+o5zs Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ kopete-devel mailing list kopete-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kopete-devel --Boundary-00=_v7zHGVTxM9+o5zs--
