I guess it's half wish half bug as I'm requesting a feature here, but I feel it's \
more like a bug because it's really something annoying. Anyway, here's what I'm \
complaining about:

When you copy some text in the message window (not in the input field), the format of \
this text depends on the style you're currently using. Which is really annoying, \
because it breaks the formatting. I'll just illustrate that with an example:

19:38:00 < Michael Mutz >  63 1 
19:38:00 < scream >  k

Copy:
19:38:21
 < scream >  S., Nr.? 
19:38:00
 < Michael Mutz >  63 1

This actually is still one of the best styles regarding this behaviour, namely Hacker \
(variant "Light2-NoBack"). Other styles completely break this behaviour!

I would like kopete to implement it's own copy function for chat windows that copies \
text independently from the chat style with correct formatting. So that:

19:38:00, Michael Mutz
- mein ergebnis unterscheidet sich immer durch einen exponenten 
- die zahl an sich stimmt 
- aber ich geb bei r in m und so das richtige ein

becomes (in the clipboard):
19:38:00 - Michael Mutz: mein ergebnis unterscheidet sich immer durch einen \
exponenten  19:39:00 - Michael Mutz: die zahl an sich stimmt 
19:39:00 - Michael Mutz: aber ich geb bei r in m und so das richtige ein

When implementing that you could maybe also improve the behaviour of selecting text, \
because it really takes some time and knowledge of tables to get behind it. And you \
could close that bug regarding Ctrl+C not working. Wouldn't be too much of work then \
I guess *g*.
