Thank you kindly for further info on multiple accounts  :-)
All mis-understanding it seems has come from adopting account info 
incorrectly by using GUI screen format instead of your above advice when 
using command line.
Maybe this could be better clarified in "kopete --help"  because  
"--autoconnect <accounts>  desc" is too vague and does not explain 
account format sufficiently!
Anyway, all is now well and I thank you again for your help on this matter.
