I'll give an example:
Me and my friend are behind double NAT. 1st - ISP, second routers at home.
We setup in Jabber's plugin File Transfer out local IP of our computers behind those \
routers (which can be read from ifconfig). I mean that Local IP can be automatically \
read from "ifconfig" or such. After setting a proxy everything works fine. Now for \
example, if I my router at home changes my IP it seems that I have to change my local \
IP in Jabber's configuration. I wouldn't have to do this if Kopete were setting \
automatically my IP during it's startup. Of course I may be wrong, but now it works. \
For example some clients (Pandion clones) as only for port and proxy. They don't ask \
about the local IP. _______________________________________________
