Otherwise you'll fall in the case of a lot of icons, all the same.

You mean "Start chat", "Send files", ... ? If there's no other
contact, the previous "Actions" submenu will do, so I think just the
other items should go... like:

Authorization>
Set Availability>
User Info

Maybe Change Metacontact.

Now 2 things more:
 1) I just noticed that Jabber protocol uses  "Authorization" and "Set
Availability" submenus, while ICQ doesn't. I like the Jabber way most.

 2) Is it possible/viable to implement a special case in drag & drop:
If you drag a meta contact with just one contact over another meta
contact, do the same as drag and drop the protocol icon, that is, move
the contact. I understand if this is not implemented because it's
inconsistent or because you plan to add another feature like sending
the contact info to the destination, something like "Export Contact"
