checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will
fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

This means that you have to install *devel* packages for X system.
Possibly something like:
XFree86-devel-4.3-....rpm
Also note, that you'll need *devel* packages for KDE, at least kdelibs-devel
if I am not mistaken.
