Yes, slink back under your rock, because we did. And if you think this is NIH 
syndrome, then you'd better go look at the code that we have now (that wasn't 
even started by any of us) and then go talk to that guy who wrote it about 
NIH syndrome. We're just trying to make the crap that he left us better, and  
in this case, a redesign and refactor is needed.

How bout you consider the fact that this is open source, and we can do pretty 
much whatever we want.
