Well, right now I'm switching to History mode to see the "error-giving" 
messages. It seems that the logs are already parsed, but somehow distorted. 
E.g.:

 <msg nick="Ana_fi" in="1" from="Ana_fi" time="18 22:51:8" >le dijimos que 
d�de hab� que firmar XDD</msg>
 <msg nick="Ivansanchez" in="0" from="Ivansanchez" time="18 22:51:13" >sólo 
sé que a mí me sirvió para cotejar cifras</msg>

That little piece of log should read:

 <msg nick="Ana_fi" in="1" from="Ana_fi" time="18 22:51:8" >le dijimos que 
dónde había que firmar XDD</msg>
 <msg nick="Ivansanchez" in="0" from="Ivansanchez" time="18 22:51:13" >sólo sé 
que a mí­ me sirvió para cotejar cifras</msg>

IMHO, if a line causes the parser to screw up, it would be nice if Kopete 
displayed the line written to the log (it writes something, it must be in 
some variable just after parsing), along with a "XML engine screwed up, check 
your UTF8 or ISO5598 coding" message.
