Summary: custom emoticon shown nicely, but message appear twice.
Product: kopete
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kopete-devel@kde.org
ReportedBy: somekool@mytradecenter.com
Version: 0.7.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-0.13mdk
custom emoticons is a very interresting features.
I have a friend who make himself very hilarous with this feature.
I just updated to current CVS, and was very happy to see you support this :)
works nice, this only thing is that the message is shown twice.
(15:36:36) JR(B) says:
haha, merci! {;
(15:36:37) JR(B) says:
haha, merci! XX
where XX is the emoticons wonderfully shown, and {; the key.
so I see one uninterpreted and then interpreted.
for each lines which contains an emoticon.
i'm wondering if there is more than custom emoticon on one message.
does the message is displayed three times ? or four ? ;)
lets ask him with two same and two different.
(18:20:36) JR(B) says:
{``:
(18:20:36) JR(B) says:
XX`:
(18:20:51) JR(B) says:
-w--w-
(18:20:51) JR(B) says:
-w-XX
message only shown twice as before, but only one emoticons parsed out of two.
and
(18:23:37) JR(B) says:
`:
(18:23:37) JR(B) says:
XX
`: by itself works.
