I'm going to assume that you're talking about keeping the kopete contact list 
in sync with the contact list on the server when contacts are added and 
removed and in this case, I would recommend updating the contact on each 
change.

If you want to update the whole gadu contact list, it would seem to make sense 
to be to do this before disconnecting.
