if you remove all toplevel contacts that are also found inside of a group, does that solve it on 
next start or does it copy the contacts to toplevel again? 
Actually it's nothing you have to worry about, the MetaContacts just have two groups set, icq 
only supports one though and I don't really know which one is saved on your serverside-list.
