If I change the alias of ICQ contact, save it to file and then restart Kopete, the \
alias is converted to verbatim UTF8 (ie displayed as some jibberish instead of \
accented chars).

This look's like there is .utf8() called one way too many times somewhere on the way \
from the file to the screen. I looked at the sources but could not locate the bug. 

This bug is quite annoying as I can't change ICQ aliases to real names (most of the \
contain non ISO-8859-1 chars).
